Laura J Martinez, age 62, a longtime resident of Newburgh, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Westchester Medical Center in New York. She was born October 13, 1961 in Manchester, New Hampshire to parents Chester Gordon and Lucille Florida Gontheir. She is survived by her son Marco and her 2 brothers, Chester (Chet) and Jason. She also leaves behind numerous friends. She loved to volunteer and help people. She was a kind person and had a big heart and was very friendly. She had so many interests: meeting up with friends, doing cross word puzzles, cooking and planting flowers. Graveside services will be held at Calvary cemetery 304 Walsh Ave, new Windsor NY 12553 at 11 am Friday.
