Kathleen A. Eastwood of New Windsor, NY passed away on August 25, 2023. She was born on August 20, 1949 in Washington, DC to Sonia B. (Petterson) and Edward J. McCarthy
She is survived by her father Edward “Bud” of Florida, sister Lynn McCarthy of Delaware, aunt Margo Petterson of California, and numerous cousins.
Predeceased by her mother Sonia. Kathy and her family lived in Wyoming till 1963, then moved to Cornwall, NY where she graduated high school in 1968.
Kathy worked at West Point as a photo journalist for their paper, The Pointer View until she retired in 2018.
Kathy was her happiest when she was photographing nature and her friends.
A celebration of her life will be decided at a later date.
